Effective January 7, Holy Cross Medical Center is no longer offering rapid COVID-19 testing to asymptomatic patients. This change is due to supply chain issues related to test kits.
If you have an order from your primary care practitioner, Holy Cross will perform a test for you. When you present it to the Emergency Department entrance, you will be registered, swabbed, and the test will be sent to our reference laboratory. Test results will be available within three to four business days.
All symptomatic patients are encouraged to be seen in the Emergency Department, where they will receive a medical screening exam and COVID-19 testing, as appropriate.
