The Enchanted Circle Bicycle Tour will take place on August 28, 2021, with an 85-mile and 100-mile ride through some of the most spectacular peaks in New Mexico along the Enchanted Circle Scenic Byway. Last year’s event was canceled due to the pandemic.

The Enchanted Circle Bicycle Tour, formerly the Enchanted Circle Century has been in existence for 40 years. It, was previously owned and operated by the Red River Chamber of Commerce with the support of the Town of Red River. Roll Massif, part of Outside, Inc, and Colorado-base cycling events, has purchased the Tour.

The ride will start and finish on Main Street in downtown Red River and travel through Questa, Taos, Angel Fire, and Eagle Nest.

“The Town of Red River is honored to be part of such an amazing cycling series as Roll Massif,” said Linda Calhoun, Mayor of Red River. “They will place the Enchanted Circle Bicycle Tour in front of a whole new group of cyclists and outdoor enthusiasts. Their long-standing tradition and professional expertise of hosting nationally recognized and successful bicycle events will make this ride a ‘bucket list’ check-off; bringing new recognition and quantifiable economic impact to the Town of Red River.”

Participants will have the opportunity to ride some of the most scenic areas in the southwest, experiencing rewarding climbs, rolling hills, fast descents, and hairpin turns. The tour includes full route support, stocked aid stations, music, food and libations.

“We are thrilled to be expanding our cycling portfolio outside of Colorado to include a tour in New Mexico,” said Chandler Smith, Roll Massif Co-Founder and Director of Event Strategy. “Red River and the surrounding area offer a variety of terrain, amazing views, and first-class hospitality.”

Roll Massif is a part of Outside Inc., world leader of active lifestyle content and offers an all-access membership program, Active Pass. Roll Massif sportives are made possible by Outside, VeloNews, Peloton, Primal and Skratch Labs.
