Red River’s very own Red River Brewing Company & Distillery has been nominated for the Best Craft Vodka Award in the US by USA Today’s 10Best Awards. The town’s first and only distillery has been selected for its award-winning and most popular spirit, Silver King Vodka, and is competing with other US-based distilleries.
Silver King Vodka has won many awards and was judged the Best American Craft Vodka in 2021 by the American Distilling Institute amongst more than 900 of the world’s best craft spirits from more than 300 craft distilleries participating.
“This is a very exciting opportunity for Red River!” says Max Khudiakov, Tourism and Economic Development Director for the Town of Red River. “The Town won the Best Ski Town Award in 2021, and we are hoping that this iconic Red River business will get its well-deserved recognition. We encourage all our residents, visitors and brewery patrons to vote for them.”
Red River Brewing Company & Distillery is a family-owned business founded in 2018 and operated by Michael and Sharon Calhoun. One of the highest elevation distilleries in the world, RRBC distills spirits in small batches using only the best ingredients and clean cold Red River mountain water.
